FASHION SCOUT DIGITAL FASHION WEEK

Fashion Scout’s Digital Fashion Week kicked off during London Fashion week and behind the framework of “Supporting SMEs and Creating Sustainable Ecosystem for Armenian Textile Industry” project funded by the UK’s Good Governance Fund (GGF) with UK aid from the British people. Focusing on the creativity from Armenia: Fashion & Design Chamber of Armenia in collaboration with Fashion Scout – the UK’s largest independent showcase of emerging and established design talent during London Fashion Week.

One of the many designers that stood out during this collaboration was
designer Ruzanna Vardanyan. Founded in 2013, the collection is designed for a sophisticated dresser with strong individuality and a brand that offers a contemporary, laconic and intellectual fashion statement. Vardanyan creates the collection with the inspiration with a vision of a combination of comfort and minimalism.

Another designer that caught our eye was Ariga Torosian -Ariga Torosian launched in 2016. Iranian-Armenian fashion designer, she graduated in graphic arts and sculpture in Tehran. Ariga has tried to create a visual order by designing her clothes not only as an outfit but as an aesthetic behavior for everyday use. Far from any complexity in colors and without any philosophical look, she chooses a color only for the sake of visual comfort the black and white behavior of the East is rooted in her works, something valuable in minimal art.
