Istituto Marangoni London hosted last week on Wednesday the first edition of their series of industry talks “In Conversation With” which will run all year long at the School.
Lulu Kennedy MBE (Fashion East) and Steve Salter (i-D Magazine) were the special guests for this opening talk.
The event was a great opportunity to get a perspective from both speakers on the biggest challenges for young talents nowadays as well as an insight on Lulu’s experience with Fashion East. The pair also shared their own personal journeys offering a valuable and novel viewpoint to the students and industry attendees.

Lulu Kennedy is the Founder and Director of Fashion East. She was previously Editor-at-large at LOVE Magazine and also works as a consultant for brands. Kennedy received an MBE in 2012 for services to the fashion industry.
Steve Salter is Fashion Features Editor at i-D Magazine. He regularly contributes to i-D online, Port Magazine, and The Fader. Salter also regularly provides musings on men’s style and fashion.
